Annual Postgraduate Meeting 2017 & Thomas Willis Lecture

Guest Speaker: Prof Allan Basbaum

The 2017 Annual Postrgraduate Meeting will again be part of the Thomas Willis Annual Lecture Programme.

All 1st, 2nd and 3rd year DPhil students are required to submit a poster for this session.
Each year group will be judged by a panel of senior academics and the winners will be announced at the start of the Thomas Willis Lecture.

The winner in each year group will present their poster to the Department at a subsequent departmental seminar

Information

  • Posters can be put up between 10.00 am and 12.00pm on the day in Tingewick Hall (Wednesday 5th April)
  • Poster Session begins at 2.00pm and you will be expected to be by your poster to talk to the judges, in particular, and any interested viewers in general.
  • Judging will be complete by 3.30pm - Tea and Cakes will be provided!
  • Presentation and Lecture 4.30pm (Lecture Theatre 2)
  • Drinks reception 5.45pm (Tingewick Hall)

Posters MUST remain in place until the end of the Drinks Reception.

The Judging panel will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

These must be size AO.
Where possible please endeavour to make sure they are portrait.
